Returns
The plugin allows you to validate returns that are sent back by customers to the warehouse.
Prerequisites
When the plugin is installed a custom order status is created with the name Awaiting return.
Return process
The return process works as follows:
- The customer contacts the store about an order or part of an order they wish to send back.
- The store manager then changes the status of the order in question to the new
Awaiting returnstatus. - The customer sends some or all of the received products back to the warehouse.
- The plugin regularly checks if the package has arrived at the warehouse (see Cronjobs)
- Once the package has been processed the store owner can validate in the plugin overlay which products were actually returned and proceed with the refund through the store interface.
