Returns

The plugin allows you to validate returns that are sent back by customers to the warehouse.

Prerequisites

When the plugin is installed a custom order status is created with the name Awaiting return.

Return process

The return process works as follows:

  1. The customer contacts the store about an order or part of an order they wish to send back.
  2. The store manager then changes the status of the order in question to the new Awaiting return status.
  3. The customer sends some or all of the received products back to the warehouse.
  4. The plugin regularly checks if the package has arrived at the warehouse (see Cronjobs)
  5. Once the package has been processed the store owner can validate in the plugin overlay which products were actually returned and proceed with the refund through the store interface.
